
Medieval 13th-century heraldic harness pendant. Possibly with the arms of Robert Fitzroger (House of Clavering) Quarterly or and gules, a bend sable. Falkirk Roll (1298)
On the suspension is a red lion rampant with crossed tail visible with a gilded background. Which could be the arms of the “House of Lacy”. Possibly connected to John de Lacy, earl of Lincoln 1235, who had similar arms as Robert Fitzroger: Quarterly or and gules, a bend sable.

Size: Suspension and pendant: 70 x 28 mm Pendant: 38 x 27 mm suspension: 32 x 16 mm
Condition: The suspension and pendant are not connected anymore.
