Medieval Pilgrim’s Badge with St. Servatius of Tongeren
A pewter mask of St. Servatius, bearded and wearing a mitre with loops to the brow, ornamented tunic; Maastricht workmanship. St. Servatius is the patron saint of the Dutch city of Maastricht and the towns of Schijndel and Grimbergen. He was bishop of Tongeren and died in 384 AD.
