A beautiful Late Renaissance Silver-gilt Heraldic Signet Ring with coat of arms; engraved shield with sword and in the Lombardic script Initials ”O. K.” above.

This is a large and heavy ring, likely worn over a glove; as was the fashion. Such a ring would have been a costly and important jewel owned by a wealthy Merchant as a means of authenticating transactions and letters.
